Search Engines have become the Buzz Word of the modern World. If people want information about anything or a businesses phone number, they use Search Engines to find it. It is proven that even if people know the Website address of a Business most people enter the address in Search Engines to find it. The most common Search Phrases entered by People is the names of Search Engines (Search engine name are left out in the write up for a very specific reason).

How relevant are Search Engines compared to other Internet avenues? According to statistics kept, Search Engines are responsible for more than 50% of all Internet Search results while the other 50% is made up the balance including Banner, Email, Face book Groups and other kinds of advertising.

Search Engines are therefore VERY IMPORTANT!

You need to be on the Search Engines, as high on the page as you can and as OFTEN AS YOU CAN

Meet your website visitor’s need effectively and they will do the business with you! Service and look after them and they will keep on coming back! Websites have a purpose and a job to do and if done correctly will do what you tell it to do. The question to ask then, is what have you asked your website to do? What is its purpose and how do you expect it to get the job done?
 

Effective Marketing: We have been very excited to see the huge spinoffs of our work. For some we have done basic work and the results have amazed us. We build a Website for a church about 2 years ago. Since then we have done occasional updates (perhaps once every two or three months). I have done a few video clips and place them on YouTube and on the Website. We have done no special or other marketing work. They currently have 675 Listings on Google (675 show of 2810 results). This number has increased from 380 in the past few weeks alone and it grows by the day. What has happened here? People search for links when they create new Directories and Websites. Existing and New Search engines find these pages and place it on their websites. Nine of these links or from Ananzi, South Africa's largest Search Engine. We have never even listed the website with them. The point is this, a bit of work done for your website or Internet Business today, will if done correctly, grow and grow and grow all by itself.

If you were to invest in your "own stock exchange" by putting money into effective marketing for your business, the returns will be staggering - and I am talking mega percentage points. In fact, if you market cleverly and consistent there is no investment on earth that can give you the returns marketing will bring you. Our work is to do this Basic work for you, correctly! The result is that you will reap from your website for years and years to come. Procrastination will be the death of your business. Without effective marketing you will never build a steady self-sustaining business.

Don’t be subtle Too often though, there isn’t a direct instruction to the visitor telling them how to take advantage of the product or service.

Don’t assume visitors to your website know what to do. Be direct with what needs to be done in order to take advantage of what you offer. It’s a lot easier to move on than try to work out what to do.

What is the function of your business?

Most of you will answer: "To make money".

WRONG!

The function of your business is not to make money, it is to get and keep clients.
The goal of your business is to make money.
The more clients you have the more money you will make.

If you confuse your business goal with your business function you will most certainly just scrape the barrel or fail.

To get more clients you need to market. And when you market you must get as many clients as you can for every penny you spend.

No matter what business you think you are in - you are in the marketing business!
Show me a business that is not doing well, and I will show you a business that is not marketing scientifically and effectively on a regular basis.

Marketing is the *elixir of business life. Marketing is the life blood of your business. To advertise is to "feed" the business in the same way that you need to eat three meals a day. You cannot just eat once a month and expect to survive and stay healthy.

Peter F. Drucker, who became famous for writing books on managing non-profit organizations actually defined a non-profit organization, as an entity that does not market. He defined a business as an entity that does marketing and advertising. What do you run - a business or a non-profit organization?

Regular marketing also means automatic public relations. The better the image you can create in the minds of your clients, the more clients you will get. It trickles down to:
Do people like you?
Can they trust you?
Are you an expert in your field?
Do you deliver when they demand?
And finally once you deliver, does it satisfy the need or desire?

I'm sure as an honest, ethical businessmen you are all of the above and more. But if someone do not know you, they will never know that you are all of the above. Through repeated effective targeted marketing efforts they will get to know you well.
And through your service and products your clients will do goodwill word-of-mouth marketing that will guarantee you fame and fortune (or the opposite if you bungle).

Now allow me to get a bit soppy, spiritual and wet in the eyes. I firmly believe that you will not make a change in your life or business if you do not:
Set clearly defined goals and targets for your business.
Believe in your product or service.

I know for a fact that one's thoughts and words create one's physical world. (That is a different Brain Tonic course altogether)
It is vital that you adopt a positive attitude towards life and mankind.
Forget that you can be all things to all people all of the time.
Concentrate on your target market and accept that even then, it will be impossible to please all.
Take some time off. Life is not just work and money. Life is doing the things that make you happy. You need to increase your wealth easier, because one of the things that makes you really happy is financial independence. And Brain Tonic for your business was designed to help you do that.
